Last year at SDCC Ice and Fire Con founder and organizer Tara took part in a panel with Ice and Fire Con volunteer Amin and his co-host Kyle of A Podcast of Ice and Fire. This year that panel returns to San Diego Comic-Con with an additional member – Ashley from APOIAF, who is also one of Ice & Fire Con’s Small Council Members!
It was announced late yesterday that the A Song of Ice and Fire: Game of Thrones Fan Discussion will be taking place at 4 PM on Saturday July 23rd in the Neil Morgan Auditorium of the San Diego Central Library. We’ll be discussing both popular and obscure fan theories, comparing the books to the television show, and taking part in a general Q&A…so if you’re an ASOIAF/GoT fan please come check us out Saturday afternoon of the convention!
Additionally, last year we went out for post-panel drinks with several of the people who attended our panel, and we’re planning something similar for this year. Keep an eye out on the Ice & Fire Con social media sites (particularly Twitter and/or Facebook) or the Podcast of Ice and Fire Twitter for announcements about this gathering.
