Just over one month to go!

We have some Ice and Fire Con 2017 updates for you!

Please note that with just over one month to go, we have sold 65% of our total tickets (this includes day passes!), but more importantly, there are only 3 lodge rooms and 5 cabins left at Mountain Lake! One of the rooms is only available via our Stone Lodge Package (for sale on our Store page); this $450 package includes a three night stay in a Southside room in the Stone Lodge and two Ice & Fire Con 2017 tickets. As the remaining rooms and cabins are priced at $60+ per night over the room included in this package, if you have a travel partner and the two of you are interested in attending this is absolutely the best deal.

Additionally, we had a great conference call with our venue today and it comes with some news!

First, the breakfast buffet has been upgraded in terms of available food items; it will run from 7:30 AM until 10:30 AM each morning and the cost is approximately $16 per person. Please note that Mountain Lake does not take reservations for breakfast.

Second, they are extending their weekly seafood buffet to include Friday night of the convention! This dinner buffet does book up a week or more in advance, so we suggest calling #(540) 626-7121 x424 as soon as possible to make your reservation. (Note that the best time to call is between their general operating hours of 8 AM and 7 PM, seven days a week.)

Third, while of course the tavern will still be open until at least 1 AM on both Friday and Saturday nights, we will also have a cash bar in the ballroom from 6 PM until midnight both those evenings. You will be able to charge cash bar purchases to your room, but if you do not want to do so you *will* have to pay cash upon purchase for any drinks from this bar. (Otherwise, you’ll have to go upstairs.) They will have basic mixed drinks, bottled beers, and a limited wine selection, but of course you will still be able to order specialty drinks, draft beers (including some of the Ommegang Game of Thrones beers!) from the tavern.
